The Ministry of Law and Justice on 14-1-2025, notified the transfer and appointment of Justice Alok Aradhe as Chief Justice of Bombay High Court by the President in exercise of powers under Article 222(1) of the Constitution. Justice Aradhe is currently serving as the Chief Justice of Telangana High Court.
The Supreme Court Collegium on 7-1-2025 headed by Justice Sanjiv Khanna, CJI had recommended the transfer of Justice Aradhe to Bombay High Court.
