ABOUT VSLLS, VIPS-TC
Vivekananda School of Law and Legal Studies (VSLLS) of Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies (VIPS) is committed to realizing the words of Swami Vivekananda: “Man Making, Character Building and Nation Building”. Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies is affiliated with Guru Gobind Indraprastha University, recognized by Bar Council of India and UGC under section 2(f), with NAAC ‘A++’ accreditation, is well known for its robust efforts in legal education. Dr. S.C. Vats, Chairman, of VIPS, a great philanthropist and educationist believes in perfection. Thus, the motto of VIPS is “in pursuit of perfection”. With his broad vision and guidance, since the inception of VIPS, in the year 2000, it has produced nineteen gold medallists, twenty-plus judicial officers along with lawyers placed with highly reputed industries, law firms and senior advocates as also government and non-government establishments. Currently, the Law School of VIPS is running the programmes B.A.LL.B., B.B.A.LL.B., and LL.M. in its own hi-tech, Wi-Fi-enabled campus in Delhi. Students with higher ranks in CET conducted by GGSIP University are preferring admission to VIPS.
ABOUT THE VALUE – ADDED COURSE
This Value-Added Course provides an in-depth understanding of legal frameworks, regulations, and compliance requirements associated with ESG factors in business operations. It is designed for professionals and students from diverse fields such as law, finance, business, and sustainability. The course will comprise of the following modules
Module No. 1 — Introduction to ESG and ESG Law
Module No. 2 — International and National ESG Regulations
Module No. 3 – Environmental Law and ESG
Module No. 4 — Social Justice and Corporate Responsibility
Module No. 5 — ESG Governance and Corporate Law in India
Module No. 6 — ESG in Investment and Finance
Module No. 7 — ESG Litigation and Dispute Resolution
Module No. 8 — The Future of ESG Law and Policy
ELIGIBILITY & MODE
This course is open to all (students, professionals, etc.) regardless of discipline or institutional affiliation will be conducted in the Virtual/ Online Mode.
TIMINGS & DURATION
The course commences in February 2025 and will be conducted post 3PM on weekdays and weekends for the convenience of participants. The duration of the course is 30+ hours for focused learning.

The seats for the value-added course are limited and acceptance of registration is subjected on first come, first serve basis.
On completion of the course the participants will be provided with a certificate subject to the following requirements:

Post completion the participants will have to complete a MCQ based evaluation and grades of the same will be awarded and mentioned on the certificate.

Participants will have to submit session-specific reports and assignments.
