National Seminar on ‘Rights of Child And The Future of India’ organised at ALS, Lucknow

The Amity Law School, Lucknow organised the National Seminar on ‘Rights of Child And The Future Of India’  on 26th September, 2016 at its Lucknow Campus. The welcome address was delivered by Prof. Dr. Sangita Laha, Deputy Director, Amity Law School, followed by Naresh Chandra Deputy DG, Mentor & Acting Director, ALS and Major Genaral K. K. Ohri, AVSM (retd.), Pro-Vice Chancellor, Amity University, Lucknow Campus, AUUP. The  key note address was delivered by Ms Juhie Singh, Chairperson, Uttar Pradesh Commission for Protection of Child Rights  followed by a speech by the  Chief Guest, Justice Vishnu Sahai, former Acting Chief Justice, Allahabad High Court. With the  release of the souvenir, the seminar commenced in two sessions with more than 80 people  presenting their papers. The sessions were as follows:
1.  Technical Session 1 of Criminal Justice System
2.  Technical Session 2 of Constitutional Perspective
For the Valedictory, the Chief Guests were the Hon’ble Justice D.K. Upadhyay and Hon’ble Justice D.K. Arora,  Judges, Allahabad High Court, Lucknow Bench. With the felicitation of dignitaries and vote of thanks by Prof. G.K. Chandani, ALS, the seminar came to an applauding end.
