NLUJ wins various titles at 4th NLSIU Animal Protection PIL Competition, 2020

1. The team comprising Nandini Kaushik, Navya Bhandari and Pratham Mohanty were adjudged as Semi-finalists in the Competition and won the Best Petition award under Theme 1 (False advertising in the Chicken Industry).

2. The team comprising Raja Reeshav, Prashant Bhushan and Ankit Shubham were adjudged as Quarter-finalists in the Competition and won the Best Petition award under Theme 3 (Lack of legislation on the maintenance and rearing of farmed pigs).

3. The team comprising Suvam Kumar, Akash Mukherjee and Pragyansh Nigam were adjudged as Quarter-finalists in the Competition and won the Best Petition award under Theme 2 (Polluter pays principle.)
