ABOUT VSLLS, VIPS-TC
Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies — Technical Campus (hereinafter “VIPS — TC”) is affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi and was established in the year 2000 with the vision to promote excellence in education and for imparting quality professional education comparable with the best in the world. ABOUT THE EVENT
North-West District Legal Services Authority (under the aegis of NALSA and DSLSA) in association with Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies- TC, New Delhi (affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University), is organising a video-making competition under its social media campaign on legal awareness. This initiative will exhibit the power of social media in delivering awareness and social justice to the public, specifically through reels and IGTV.
Eligibility:
All law professionals, students or any other interested persons are hereby invited to participate by recording a 120-second video (maximum) on legal literacy or any legal topic, incorporating educational as well as witty elements.
Entries are invited from September 19 to October 10, 2022. The video shall be submitted with a concept note in brief that will be used for Caption on the post along with the Instagram handles of the team on the email id: legalliteracy.nw@gmail.com.
Rewards:
Shortlisted videos will be uploaded on the Instagram page of North-West DLSA (i.e., @dlsa_northwest) on October 12, 2022, after being fairly examined by this Authority. The decision of selecting Committee shall be final and all the rights regarding the competition stay reserved by this Authority only.
Winners will be decided based on the number of likes and comments received on their posts.This means 1 like=1 point. The said counting of ‘likes’ will be monitored till October 20, 2022. A Certificate of Appreciation and a trophy will be given to the Winner, whereas a Certificate of Participation will be awarded to the shortlisted entries. A Facilitation Ceremony will be held at the Office of DLSA, Patiala House Court, Delhi or any other place as decided by the competent authority. This will also be an exciting opportunity to be a part of DLSA’s upcoming Podcast Series.
