Can movie goers take their own food and drinks to the Cinema Hall?
The Supreme Court has held that allowing movie goers to carry their own food and beverages to a movie hall would be akin to permitting a customer who visits a restaurant to carry their own food and eat it within the premises of that restaurant.
It is business of restaurant to sell food. But it is not business of cinema halls to sell food. Business of cinema hall is to sell movie tickets. So, movie goers should be allowed to carry their own food and drinks.
