The President has appointed Shri Justice Subhasis Talapatra, Judge of the Orissa High Court, to be Chief Justice of the Orissa High Court, with effect from the date he assumes charge of the office consequent upon superannuation of Dr. Justice S. Muralidhar present Chief Justice of the High Court of Orissa on 07.08.2023.
