About the Centre
The Centre for Business Laws & Taxation (“CBLT”) is a research centre under the aegis of the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab (“RGNUL”) that aims to promote and conduct interdisciplinary research and undertake numerous activities and projects in the realm of Business Laws and Taxation. This centre is headed by our esteemed faculty coordinator, Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma.
About the Course
This certificate course on corporate laws and practice is structured with the objective of analyzing the current legal issues in the field of corporate litigation by identifying the lacunas existing in corporate law so as to benefit law students and young professionals who understand the nuances of corporate litigation.
The Centre is proudly hosting this course in August-October, 2023. The course is structured in order to engage in a dialogue and create awareness about the scope and challenges in the field of Corporate law. This includes topics such as Mergers & Acquisitions, Insolvency & Bankruptcy, Banking Laws, Indirect Tax, Direct Tax, ADR Mechanisms, and Competition Law which will be undertaken by renowned practitioners and stalwarts.
The resource persons will delve into the practical as well as theoretical nuances of their respective practice areas and interact with the students regarding the requirements of corporate law practice in the contemporary world.
Registration for the course:
Every student of B.A. L.L.B(Hons.) and L.L.M at RGNUL wishing to attend the online course has to register at the given link. This is the preliminary registration, the form for the final registration shall be floated subsequently. The last day to register for the course is 31st July 2023 at 11:59 pm. No registrations beyond the following deadline will be entertained.
