ABOUT THE JOURNAL

The NLIU International Trade Law Journal, published annually by the National Law Institute University, Bhopal, is a platform designed to encourage interdisciplinary discussions on International Trade Law. It seeks innovative perspectives from students, practitioners, academicians, and jurists, making it a hub for groundbreaking insights. Following a rigorous double-blinded peer-review process, the journal ensures the highest quality in its publications. We are fortunate to have a distinguished board of advisors, comprising renowned experts in the field of trade and related laws. Our peer reviewers, who possess a profound understanding of International Trade Law and its related legal fields, come from both academic and practitioner backgrounds. Established in 2021, the journal’s mission is to facilitate intellectual discourse and academic research in the diverse realm of international trade law. The journal’s team is committed to advancing the understanding of International Trade Law and its role in the global economy and associated fields by promoting legal scholarship on a wide range of topics. This platform serves as an avenue for students, scholars, and academicians worldwide to share their insights on international trade. To maintain publication efficiency and quality, the journal strictly adheres to a double-blinded peer-review process. As of now, it has successfully published two volumes. The journal’s ambition is to publish articles authored by legal experts that address contemporary and interdisciplinary legal issues, enriching the discourse in the field.

CALL FOR PAPERS

We invite submissions for our third volume from academicians, practitioners, research scholars, students, and experts from within the legal community for manuscripts that assert and defend a well-reasoned position relating to international economic laws. Authors willing to contribute to the journal are required to submit full papers by 11:59 P.M. (Indian Standard Time), December 31, 2023. All manuscripts will undergo a rigorous process of review and only those manuscripts of the highest academic standards shall be accepted.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Formatting:

Body: Times New Roman,

font size 12

Line Spacing for body: 1.5

Alignment: Justified

Footnotes: Times New Roman, font size 10

Line Spacing for Footnotes: 1.0

Margins: 1″ on all sides.

Citation Style: OSCOLA (4th edition) format.

Do not use endnotes or descriptive footnotes.

Graphs, Tables and Pictures: Any graphs, pictures, or tables should be sent as separate attachments in high quality.

Full papers have to be emailed to itlj@nliu.ac.in by 11:59 P.M., December 31, 2022, with subject “Submission for Volume III”;

Co-authorship of entries is allowed with a maximum of two authors.

Authors can be from the same or different institutions.

Entries must be original, unpublished, and non-plagiarized.

The copyright of the entry will be retained by the editorial board once the entry is selected.

Entries cannot be retracted after selection.

Name of the author(s), institutional affiliation/qualification, the title of the manuscript, category of the manuscript and their contact information shall be included in the covering e-mail. Please refrain from including any information that could identify the author(s) in the manuscript;

Each work should be accompanied with an abstract of not more than 350 words;

The final decision as to the acceptance of manuscripts rests with the Editorial Board.
