Theme of the Moot Court Competition
This year’s moot problem has been drafted to test the knowledge, research aptitude and application of law by the participants around the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002.
Eligibility
The competition is open for students who are studying LLB three year or five-year courses during the current academic year.
Team Composition
The team composition, for the competition, shall comprise of either 2 (two) members (being designated as Speakers) or 3 (three) members (two of them shall be designated as Speakers and one Researcher).
Registration Process
Provisional registrations are open from 12th December,2023. The teams must register provisionally in order to reserve a slot for the Final Registration by 11th January,2024. The last date for Final Registration is 31st January 2024
The teams can register by filling the Google form (Provisional Registration). The Final Registration process would be concluded only after full payment of the registration fee.
A registration fee of Rs. 3600/- is to be paid online by 31st January 2024.
- Only 24 teams will be registered to participate in the competition on a first-come-first- serve basis.
- Teams have to mandatorily fill up the Provisional Registration form.

The fee once paid will not be refunded.
In the event if a team drops out of the competition or is disqualified the team next in line as per registration data (When the registration exceeds beyond the permitted 24 teams) will be offered the chance to participate in the competition at short notice.

- Winning Team: Cash Prize of Rs. 40,000/-
- Runner-up Team: Cash Prize of Rs. 30,000/-
- Best Researcher: Cash Prize of Rs. 10,000/-
- Best Speaker: Cash Prize of Rs. 10,000/-

Additional Perks
Winner
The winner team shall be awarded with three (3) one-year academic subscriptions to EBC Online Web Edition worth Rs. 43,500/-
Runner-up
