About the organization
National Law University Tripura is the 25th National Law University of the country established by an act of the Tripura Legislature. It is a milestone in the field of legal education and research in the State of Tripura for improving the quality of professional legal education. The foundation of the University was laid by Her Excellency Smt. Draupadi Murmu, Hon’ble President of India on October 12, 2022.
About the Event
The Centre for Women and Child Rights at National Law University Tripura is organizing its First Two Day International Conference on “Unfolding Gender Equity Through Inclusivity: Challenges and Way Forward” on March 08-09, 2024.
The Centre for Women and Child Rights at National Law University Tripura is a dedicated initiative committed to advancing and safeguarding the rights of women and children through interdisciplinary research, advocacy, and community engagement.
This event is being conducted in collaboration with Tripura Commission for Women. The Tripura Commission for Women, adhering to its mandate, tackled crimes against women, particularly emphasizing marital discord and domestic violence. Through investigations, counselling and collaboration with law enforcement, the Commission aims to expedite resolutions. It also prioritizes awareness programs and engages with diverse stakeholders to address issues like crime rates against women.
Eligibility Criteria
The Conference is open to all the Students, Research Scholars/Faculties/Academicians, Corporate Delegates, Business entities and Lawyers.

Guidelines for Paper Submission
-
The title of the paper should be followed by Name of the Author, Designation, Name of the Organization/University/Institution and Email address. It is mandatory to mention Email address, as all future correspondence will be made through it.

Name and details of Co-author, if any.

The paper should be typed in MS WORD format.
-
The paper must be in single column lay out with margins justified on both sides.
-
The heading and sub-heading should be in font size 12 bold and Times New Roman, left aligned.
-
The main text should be in font size 12 Times New Roman, 1.5 spacing and justified.
-
The length of the paper should not exceed 6,000-8000 words (including footnotes). Exceeding the word limit may lead to rejection of paper.

Citation Format should conform to the Indian Law Institute, New Delhi.

Submission of the abstract should accompany with a cover letter with the name(s) of the author(s) and address, designation, institution/affiliation, the title of the manuscript and contact information (email, phone). All submissions must contain an abstract of not more than 250 words with 5 Minimum Keywords.

All the contributions should be the original work of the contributors and should not have been submitted for consideration in any other Publication. Any plagiarized work will be out- rightly rejected.

All the contributors should provide a declaration form regarding the originality of the paper.

The contributions presented to and accepted for publication and the copyrights therein shall be the Intellectual Property of National Law University, Tripura.
Rules for the Presentation
-
No abstract or full paper shall be accepted after the last date of submission respectively;
-
Participants/Paper Presenters have to register after the acceptance of the abstract with payment of required fees;
-
For participation, registration is mandatory for confirmation of the participation; only registered participants will be allowed to take part in the Conference;
-
All the registered participants will be provided with a participation certificate.
Mode of Presentation of paper
Technical sessions will be both in physical mode and online mode (Google Meet).
