Delhi Court allows bail to Arvind Kejriwal in ED summons case

The Court followed by hearing the application under Section 207 of CrPC moved on behalf of Kejriwal.

Rouse Avenue Court, Delhi: The Court grants bail to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal against complaints by ED pertaining to non-compliance with summons in Delhi Liquor Scam Case. The Court of Divya Malhotra, ACMM, allowed CM Kejriwal to be released after submission of bail bond of Rs 15,000 and a surety of Rs 1 lakh.

Finding the offence to be bailable as per the provisions of Criminal Procedure Code, 1973 (‘CrPC’), the Court granted bail to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and allowed him to leave the Court.

The Court followed by hearing the application under Section 207 of CrPC moved on behalf of Kejriwal. The matter was listed for the next hearing on 1-04-2024.
