INSOL International, comprising over 44 Member Associations and 10,500 professionals worldwide, specializes in turnaround and insolvency. INSOL India is an independent leadership body representing practitioners and other associated professionals specialising in the fields of restructuring, insolvency and turnaround. It is an association with an architecture that facilitates key stakeholders to come together and share experiences while preserving their independence.

The Insolvency Law Academy, founded by Sumant Batra, aligns with India’s economic goals, focusing on strengthening the nation’s insolvency system through the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016. It comprises a think tank, research centre, school, and platforms, aiming to elevate India’s global economic standing.

About the Conference and Submissions as Invitees.
The primary theme of the conference revolves around “Insolvency Ecosystems In Emerging Markets.” Full-time academics, part-time researchers, practitioners, regulators, judges, and policymakers are invited to contribute their submissions.
The organizers encourage submissions that take a comparative approach or present outcomes of interdisciplinary studies on insolvency and restructuring, drawing insights from various disciplines such as law, economics, finance, psychology, management, and social sciences.

The deadline for submission of the abstract is 30th April 2024.
The suggested word limit for the extract is 800 words. Final paper submissions are due by July 30, 2024. The conference is scheduled for August 5, 2024.
Awards
The conference will recognize two outstanding papers with awards: the Best Paper Award valued at $500, and the Second Best Paper Award valued at $300.
Additionally, travel awards are available for young scholars from South Asian countries (excluding India) on a need basis, covering travel expenses to and from India for the conference.
