The Law, Humanities and Social Sciences (LHSS) Collective at Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai is back with the second edition of its International Symposium being hosted from 11th to 12th May, 2024 for probing into the crises faced by law in today’s society.
About LHSS Collective
Available research on the intersection of law with humanities and social sciences remains focused on and originates from the Global North. Perspectives from the Global South remain marginal to such discussions. MNLU Mumbai’s Law, Humanities and Social Sciences Collective seeks to redress this imbalance by providing platforms for expression and exchange of ideas that craft and critique interdisciplinary from a Global South perspective.
About Symposium
The LHSS International Symposium is a two-day virtual event that brings together scholars, students, and legal professionals to explore the dynamic interplay between law and social sciences. Building on the success of the first edition, this edition of the competition, being held on 11 – 12 May 2024, aims to foster a deeper understanding of crises faced by law. Over the period of two days, this symposium would feature some of the prominent voices in the field.
The LHSS Collective hereby invites abstracts for the paper presentation at the Symposium. The topic chosen shall explore the intersection of law and humanities or social sciences.
