Insolvency Law Academy (ILA) is poised to host the Third Edition of its Annual Conference, the 3rd meeting of ILA’s Insolvency Scholars Forum and the 2nd meeting of ILA’s Emerging Scholars Group in March 2025.
The upcoming ILA 2025 Conference, scheduled from 14th to 16th March 2025, is slated to take place at the Tijara Fort-Palace, Alwar, Rajasthan, India.
The ILA 2025 Conference will centre on the theme:
‘Insolvency Regimes: A History of Tomorrow’.
Topics of discussion will include an analysis of what we might have overlooked or are still overlooking from the past in our present actions, our response and readiness for the future, in insolvency policy and practice.
Past two Editions of ILA’s Annual Conferences have brought together thought leaders and practitioners from around the globe. These conferences have been commended by global insolvency experts, judges and top international thinkers. The two Editions have facilitated meaningful discussions and the exchange of ideas that drive the field forward.
Held in Delhi in February 2023 and in Goa in February 2024, the Conferences were particularly notable for their high-profile attendees and impactful sessions. ILA braces to conduct yet another enriching edition, endeavoring to actualize their vision.
ABOUT INSOLVENCY LAW ACADEMY
ILA is an Indian Institute of Excellence in Insolvency.
ILA functions as an independent think tank and research institution. It contributes to robust and evidence-based policy making along with enhancing the professional and ethical standards in the insolvency industry through cutting-edge research, innovation and development of best practices.
ILA was founded by Mr. Sumant Batra, an insolvency lawyer of global eminence, after three decades of experience in the areas of insolvency, bankruptcy and related laws.
It was launched in June 2022, with the vision to create a world-class institution to strengthen the nation’s insolvency system. The idea evolved into a compelling vision with the involvement of prominent economists, intellectuals, legal scholars, and global leaders.
Within a span of two years, ILA has elicited significant endorsement and fervent engagement from national and international leading figures. It has been conceived as a premier institution, acting as a torchbearer in the field of insolvency law.
One of the hallmarks of ILA is to develop a community in pursuit of education, research and scholarship in the field of insolvency. ILA has established the Insolvency Scholars Forum and the Emerging Scholars Group to bring together a community of academic in the field of insolvency to serve as a credible resource for research initiatives along with mentoring young researchers.
ILA has been instrumental in publishing numerous research papers, articles, reports and actively engages in developing best practices and standards for the insolvency profession. It aims to provide actionable insights and recommendations which contribute to the body of knowledge in Insolvency law and practice.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION:
- The Early Bird discount is applicable only till Monday, 30th September 2024.

Entry is strictly by registration.
- As an academic you are entitled to a flat 40% discount on the registration fee.
- An extra fee will be charged for an accompanying person. (An accompanying person is a person, including spouse or partner, who accompanies the delegate but shall only attend the social events, including dinners on 14th and 15th March 2025).
- Group registrations are allowed for four or more delegates from the same organisation.
- Payments can be made through bank transfer only.
- Entry is allowed from Friday, 14th March till Sunday, 16th March 2025, depending on the confirmation of the registration.
- Delegates of the event will be provided lunch at the venue on Saturday,15th and Sunday,16th March 2025.
- Participants will be provided dinner at the venue on Friday,14th and Saturday,15th March 2025.

Cancellation or refund of the registration fee is not permissible. However, it may be transferred to another delegate in the same category in exceptional circumstances with the prior written approval of ILA.

The entire Fort Palace, comprising 101 rooms, has been chartered for the conference. There is no other hotel in proximity. This is the only hotel where the delegates can stay.
