Live Updates | 14th Amity International Moot Court Competition, 2024 | Organised by Amity Law School, Noida

“True peace is not merely the absence of tension; it is the presence of justice.”

– Martin Luther King Jr.

Amity Law School, Noida is a premiere legal education institution that takes delight in conducting a myriad of indelible educational programs and competitions. With its motto, “Second-to-None,” ALSN stands as a beacon of excellence in legal education, consistently channeling its resources to provide students with an enriching academic experience and valuable developmental opportunities.

This year, we are back with our 14th iteration of the flagship event of Amity Moot Court Society which is scheduled from 17th to 19th October 2024.

This year’s moot problem delves into the complexities of Public International Law, with a central theme on the critical issues of “Genocide and Territorial Sovereignty.” The theme oscillates at the crossroad between the path to protection of state’s right to maintain its sovereignty and the road to world peace and security. In an era where the borders of nations are drawn with ink that easily turns to blood, and the cry for sovereignty is often a prelude to violent conflict, this theme forces us to confront the uncomfortable reality of our shared history.

This year, we welcome 41 teams from various countries, each competing with fervour and dedication. The participants will showcase their legal prowess on a highly complex moot problem that explores the depths of international law and justice.

Hold on tight because Amity Law School is about to host another thrilling moot court competition that is 14th International Moot Court on Genocide and Territorial Sovereignty and here is the itinerary.

With great excitement and anticipation, we begin Day 1 of the 14th edition of this renowned competition!
