ABOUT THE JOURNAL
The NALSAR-IAMC ADR Journal (‘The Journal’) is the result of the budding relationship & joint efforts between NALSAR and IAMC. The Journal primarily endeavours to facilitate the development of scholarship in the fields of Arbitration and Alternate Dispute Resolution.
In furtherance of the same, the Journal aims to provide a robust platform for legal minds all over the country to showcase their critical thinking and analytical abilities in order to positively contribute to the emergent discourse surrounding Arbitration and Alternate Dispute Resolution.
In light of the above, the Editorial Board is pleased to invite submissions for Volume II, Issue I of the Journal.
CATEGORIES OF SUBMISSION
The Journal invites submissions under the following categories:
- Long Articles: Approximately 6,000 words
- Short Articles: Approximately 4,000-6,000 words

Essays: Approximately 2,500-4,000 words
Note: The indicated word limits are exclusive of footnotes.
SUBMISSION PROCEDURE
- Submissions must be sent to nalsariamcadrjournal@nalsar.ac.in in .doc or .docx format.
- The subject line of the email should read: “Submission for Volume II | [Author(s) Name] — Submission]”.
- The file name should be in the following format: “[Author(s) Name] — [Title of Submission]”.
- The cover email must include:
- Name of the author(s)
- Contact details
- Designation

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
All submissions must adhere to the following guidelines:
- Abstract: Each submission must be accompanied by a 250-word abstract and 5-8 keywords.
- Authorship: Co-authorship of up to two authors is permitted.
- Sub-Theme: There are no specific sub-themes and the Journal shall accept submissions relating to Arbitration Law (both domestic and international) and/or Alternate Dispute Resolution.
- Formatting:
- Body: Times New Roman, Font Size 12, 1.5 line spacing, justified alignment, 1-inch margins.
- Footnotes: Times New Roman, Font Size 10, single line spacing.
- Citation: Footnotes must conform to the Bluebook (21st edition).
- Originality: Submissions must be original and free from plagiarism. Any submission found to contain plagiarized content will be rejected. While the use of AI as an auxiliary tool to assist in the writing process is permitted, it is the responsibility of the author to ensure that their submission reflects genuine academic effort and originality. The Journal will not publish any submission found to be wholly AI-generated. Authors must adhere to the highest ethical standards and are expected to confirm that their work embodies their own research, analysis, and unique contributions.

Anonymity: Submissions must not contain any identifying information about the author(s). Details such as names, contact information, designations, and institutional affiliations should be included in the cover email.
