The Public Policy and Research Committee at School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Delhi NCR Campus is elated to invite all young scholars from recognized universities to present draft policies on the theme “Digital Content Creation and Digital India Initiative.”
1. About School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Delhi NCR Campus
The School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Delhi NCR Campus, offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Doctoral Programmes in law, adhering to the Bar Council of India and University Grants Commission guidelines. The curriculum is designed to meet the demands of the legal profession and academia, incorporating internships, clinical programs, research, and seminars. Through these, students are equipped with knowledge and skills to excel in the legal field.
2. About The Public Policy and Research Committee at School of Law
The Public Policy and Research Committee is a student-led organization dedicated to research, policy development, and the critical evaluation of existing policies. Its goal is to provide law students with a thorough platform to engage in public policy research and drafting, while offering practical experience in these essential fields. By raising awareness of urgent public policy issues in India, the committee aims to link students with key policy influencers, promoting a deeper understanding of the socio-political landscape. Through researching current policy challenges, the Committee enables students to create innovative policy proposals addressing India’s most pressing concerns.
3. About the Workshop & Competition
The Public Policy and Research Committee at School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Delhi NCR Campus, is organizing a Policy Workshop & Drafting Competition on the theme “Digital Content Creation and Digital India Initiative.” The workshop will be conducted in a hybrid format on 18 March, 2025. It would be online for the external participants and in physical mode for the internal participants. Participants are required to register and submit their policy document within the prescribed timeframe. Participants will attend the workshop followed by the feedback session and improve their policies and submit the final document on the specified date. Participants will make presentations at the Delhi NCR Campus on 25 March, 2025. The presentation should include their revised policy as well as an oral presentation.
4. Eligibility
The competition is open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students from recognized colleges or universities. Teams may consist of one or two members and can be formed within or across departments of the same institution. Only external participants are eligible for cash prizes.
5. Cash Prizes
Winner: Rs. 10,000 + Certificate of Merit.
Runner Up: Rs. 5,000 + Certificate of Merit.
Certificate of Participation will be awarded to all participants.
