Centre notifies appointment of Judges for the High Courts of Allahabad, Bombay and Rajasthan

The appointments by the President of India were notified by the Ministry of Law and Justice on 23-1-2025.

On 23-1-2025, the Ministry of Law and Justice notified the appointment of new Judges by the President of India for the following 3 High Courts:

Allahabad High Court

In exercise of power under Article 217(1) of the Constitution the President appointed Praveen Kumar Giri, to be a Judge of the Allahabad High Court with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office.

Bombay High Court

The President exercising powers under Article 224(1) of the Constitution appointed Pravin Sheshrao Patil, to be an Additional Judge of the Bombay High Court for a period of two years with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office.

Rajasthan High Court

In exercise of power under Article 217(1) of the Constitution the President appointed the following Judicial Officers to be Judges of the Rajasthan High Court, in the order of seniority, with effect from the date they assume the charge of their respective offices.

(i) Chandra Shekhar Sharma,

(ii) Pramil Kumar Mathur

(iii) Chandra Prakash Shrimali
