On 12-2-2025, the President of India appointed Yarenjungla Longkumer, Judicial Officer, to be an Additional Judge of the Gauhati High Court for a period of two years with effect from the date she assumes charge of her office.
Her name for elevation as Judge of Gauhati High Court was recommended by the Supreme Court Collegium on 4-1-2024.
