Rouse Avenue Court, Delhi: On 25-02-2025, a Single Judge Bench of Kaveri Baweja, J., awarded the former Congress MP Sajjan Kumar life sentence for committing murder of a father and his son during the 1984 Anti-Sikh Riots in Delhi. On 12-02-2025, the Court had convicted him under Sections 147, 148, 149, 302, 308, 323, 395, 397, 427, 436, and 440 read with Section 149 the Penal Code, 1860.
