The Colloquium is a prestigious event conducted by the Centre, attracting students and professionals from across the country. It features panel discussions moderated by experts, where distinguished speakers present views for and against the scheduled topic. This event provides a platform for students to engage with contemporary developments in commercial laws, interact with industry experts, and gain valuable insights into the evolving legal landscape.
Theme for Colloquium 8.0:
This year, the Colloquium is centered around the theme of “Navigating Market Manipulation in the Digital Age: Legal Frontiers & Regulatory Challenges.” The discussions will delve into the evolving landscape of market manipulation, focusing on emerging risks, regulatory gaps, and enforcement challenges in maintaining market integrity. Through insightful panel discussions, we aim to critically examine the efficacy of existing legal frameworks, identify regulatory loopholes, and propose actionable reforms to enhance transparency and fairness in the capital market.
The event will bring together eminent experts from the fields of securities law and capital markets, including representatives from regulators (SEBI, NSE, BSE), leading law firms, financial institutions, and market practitioners.
