On 8-3-2025, the Delhi Cabinet approved the implementation of ‘Mahila Samriddhi Yojna’ by allocating Rs. 5100 crore in Delhi Budget to give aid of Rs. 2500 per month to the targeted women of Delhi, which comprises of Self Help Groups and women belonging to economically and socially backward classes.

The scheme aims to benefit entrepreneurs from backward backgrounds or poor backgrounds.

Scheme was launched as a part of the National Backward Classes Finance and Development Corporation.
