ABOUT ADAMAS UNIVERSITY

The Adamas University was established by Sachis Kiran Roy Memorial Trust (SKRMT) (under the West Bengal Act IV of 2014) passed by The West Bengal Legislature and approved by The Governor. The provisions of The Adamas University Act, 2014, came into effect on 11th April 2014, through a notification issued by The Govt. of West Bengal on the same day. It is the 1st amongst the private universities in West Bengal to get a NAAC “A” accreditation.

ABOUT MOOT COURT COMMITTEE

The Adamas Law Moot Court Committee (ALMCC) of Adamas University is a student-led body, guided by the administrative body of the law school for organizing various moot court activities by adhering to the ALMCC Rules and Regulations (Rulebook).

The 4th National Moot Court Competition had added feather to the crown of Adamas University, School of Law and Justice where the glory was enhanced by having the Hon’ble seating judge of Calcutta High Court Smt. Ananya Bandyopadhyay.

The previous success encouraged us to come up with the 5th Adamas Moot Court Competition, 2025.

ABOUT THE 5th ADAMAS MOOT COURT COMPETITION, 2025

Adamas University is organising the 5th Adamas Moot Court Competition, 2025, scheduled to take place from 10th — 12th April, 2025. It provides an opportunity to all the Nationwide Legal Institutions to participate in this competition.

Venue: Adamas Knowledge City, Barasat Barrackpore Road

THEME

The theme of the 5th adamas moot court competition evolves across the constitutional validity of the disruption regulation, the acceptability of proof in criminal cases, and the procedural regulators in courtroom court cases. It examines the warfare among country-wide protection law and fundamental rights, in particular, freedom of expression and expression.

ELIGIBILITY

Law students duly enrolled in the 3-year LL.B. courses or 5-year integrated LL.B. courses undergraduate programmes may apply to participate in the Competition.

REGISTRATION FEES AND PROCEDURE

The teams shall be required to pay a fee of INR 1,800/- (exclusive of Accommodation) towards registration prior to filling of the form and attach proof of payment while filling the aforementioned Final Registration form: https://forms.gle/k8NHQvVmQjwcQYtbA . This fee shall be non-refundable in case of withdrawal by a team.
