On 1-4-2025, the President of India, in exercise of the power conferred by Article 222 (1) of the Constitution transferred Justice Dinesh Kumar Sharma, Judge, Delhi High Court, to Calcutta High Court and directed him to assume charge of his office in the Calcutta High Court.
The Supreme Court Collegium headed by Justice Sanjiv Khanna, CJI, on 27-3-2025, recommended the transfer of Justice DK Sharma to Calcutta High Court.
