The India International Arbitration Centre (IIAC) has announced a strategic collaboration with Manipal Law School, Bengaluru, to offer an Online Arbitration, advocacy, and award drafting workshop. This initiative aims to equip legal professionals having at least 5 years of experience with practical skills in arbitration, thereby enhancing their expertise in dispute resolution.
Scheduled from April 18 to 22, 2025, the workshop will provide participants with hands-on experience in arbitration proceedings, focusing on advocacy techniques and award drafting.
Led by seasoned arbitrators and legal experts, the program is designed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application in the field of arbitration. This partnership between IIAC and Manipal Law School reflects a shared dedication to advancing legal education and enhancing the capabilities of professionals in the arbitration domain.
Participants who successfully complete the workshop may apply for empanelment with the IIAC as per the IIAC (Criteria for admission to panel of Arbitrators) Regulations, 2023, offering them opportunities to serve as arbitrators in future disputes. This collaboration underscores IIAC’s commitment to fostering professional development and promoting excellence in arbitration practices across India.
