Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas advised Reliance Industries Limited’s wholly-owned subsidiary RISE Worldwide Limited (“RISE”). RISE, BLAST Esports Limited (a wholly owned unit of Denmark-based BLAST ApS.) have entered into a strategic partnership and will form a new joint venture (“JV”) entity, bring together BLAST’s esports media production expertise, publisher relationships, IPs, and Jio’s technology expertise, distribution reach, and local relationships to host these events on the Jio Games Platform. The JV will cater to the entire esports spectrum i.e., services to publishers and sponsors, end-to-end tournament management, targeted marketing and production and broadcasting.
The transaction team was led by L.
