Supreme Court Collegium recommends transfer of 7 High Court Judges

The transfer recommendations were made to infuse inclusivity and diversity at the level of High Courts.

The Supreme Court Collegium headed by Justice Sanjiv Khanna, the Chief Justice of India, in its meetings held on 15-4-2025 and 19-4-2025, recommended the transfer of the following High Court Judges, with a view to infuse inclusivity and diversity at the level of High Courts and to strengthen the quality of administration of justice:

  1. Justice Dr. Kumbhajadala Manmadha Rao to be transferred from Andhra Pradesh to Karnataka High Court

  2. Justice Hemant Chandangoudar to be transferred from Karnataka High Court to Madras High Court

  3. Justice Krishnan Natarajan to be transferred from Karnataka High Court to Kerala High Court

  4. Justice Neranahalli Srinivasan Sanjay Gowda to be transferred from Karnataka High Court to Gujarat High Court

  5. Justice Dixit Krishna Shripad to be transferred from Karnataka high Court to Orissa High Court

  6. Justice Perugu Sree Sudha to be transferred from Telangana High Court to Karnataka High Court

  7. Justice Kasoju Surendhar @ K. Surender to be transferred from Telangana High Court to Madras High Court
